In our daily lives, we come across many deprived people who are on streets wandering here and there to fulfil their basic needs. We feel pity seeing those people and we feel like doing something for them. But helping those people remain just a thought because we think about the problem and don’t act on those issues. With the start of 2020 New Year, many of us have set important resolutions to work harder and achieve our dreams. You can make volunteering for non-profit organization as another important resolution for this year. Making effective use of your skills and strength to help poor people can make a huge impact in their lives. With this process of volunteering, you can learn something new in your life and achieve the greatest satisfaction in serving others. Volunteers at SSLV contribute a lot in educating poor children, help them to learn English, Maths and other subjects. People from different abilities and skills come together to support various social causes like child labour, child abuse, providing child education and health benefits to children and old people. Volunteers are one of the strong support systems of the SSLV Foundation. They come forward to help us in various activities like fundraising, running different awareness campaigns, organizing fun events for children and many such value-adding initiatives that drive our organization to achieve its goals. SSLV has encouraged many volunteers and will continue to do so to involve them in various noble activities that will make a greater impact in the lives of underprivileged children and destitute old people. We provide you the opportunity to volunteer with us and gain the most enriching life lessons that will empower you in all aspects of your life. If you are passionate to help those children who are deprived of a good living or can be a support for those elderly old people, volunteer with us.

Fundraising for SSLV Projects

Fundraising plays a vital role for running a sustainable non-profit organization. Effective fundraising campaigns become a great source for the organization to achieve its financial goals. SSLV Foundation is associated with different government and private organizations for financial aid. Individual donors, schools, colleges and other charitable bodies are also major contributors that provide financial help to run different projects. Fundraising is a continuous effort in which we engage with our financial supporters and nurture a long term relationship. SSLV is running many projects to solve various social causes and help the needy people. There are many projects such as building orphanage, school, medical facilities, old homage. At present, we are working on a project to build a school and an old age home at Gudibanda, Karnataka. Gudibanda is a panchayat town in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka. People from Gudibanda are from different background and they are actively contributing to the growth of that place. So, there is huge scope to turn this project into a successful one. We maintain high transparency with our contributors and maintain good relationship with them. We are truly grateful to all our contributors who put all their efforts to run successful fundraising campaigns and raise money for the welfare and development of the needy people. It’s a combined effort from all our volunteers and contributors that make it possible for SSLV to achieve its mission of helping poor children and helpless old people. Your ideas and efforts will always be appreciated.

Be The Reason Behind Someone’s Smile!

Not everyone is fortunate enough to lead a normal life like us. Many people suffer throughout their life, they face so many hardships to survive. Some are bound by unavoidable circumstances and are helpless to fight back. It’s so disheartening that we ignore their difficulties and just feel pity for their condition. What if every individual contributes something to the underprivileged people and to the society as a whole. Imagine a child who is begging down the streets will now be able to go school because of your kind act. Will that small act of yours in helping the child to go school not give you peace and satisfaction? You will definitely realize if you are involved in such noble activities. Millions of children in India are deprived of going to school. Inspite of the relentless efforts by the government and other trustable bodies to improve literacy rate, this mission is yet to gain its momentum. Many children are either school drop outs or never been to school because they cannot afford to pay the fees or the school is out of their reach. They are forced to do odd jobs or serve as bonded labour to support their families. You can transform the lives of these underprivileged children by contributing and through volunteer service. If you are eager to help someone, you will find ways to do it. You can research non-profit organizations near your place and volunteer to teach or provide counselling to those kids, raise awareness campaigns to support the cause, get involved in fundraising activities to raise money for the welfare of the needy children. If you notice any kind of violence like child labour or child abuse around you, you can communicate it to NGOs who can rescue those children. Lets work together to bring change in the lives of these poor children. With selfless attitude, lets put our efforts to eradicate social causes and support the needy people to lead a better life. Be the reason for those innocent kids’ smile that we can bring together. Let us give them the opportunity to aspire higher, play, learn and prosper towards a bright future.
